Young adult Coaching


The transition from adolescent to adult can be a difficult path to navigate. There are so many expectations that we put on ourselves, and are designed by others around us; to know what we’re doing, where we’re going, getting it right and succeeding!

The crossroads that young adults find themselves at is one that is exciting but equally daunting, the path may initially feel like the right one but a few strides in and it can feel perilous and uncertain. Young adults may feel like they need to return to the crossroads and choose a different path, or carry on the same path but recognising they can only do so with additional support. Launching into a career, the workplace, college/university or indeed just adult life with all its expectations and responsibilities can impact on self-confidence, self-esteem and self-identity. It is a time of significant change and development in our lives and one during which we want to become more in control of our destiny.

What is it?

Young adult coaching offers you an opportunity to gain clarity in self-identity, self-awareness and self-development during this transitional phase in your life. It is an opportunity to focus on the steps you would want to take to move forward and reach your full potential.

Coaching and mentorship during this crucial stage in your life is designed to inspire your vision of yourself and your future, motivate you to design this and feel in control of your choices and decisions, and encourage you to feel empowered.

During the coaching process we will work together to highlight patterns of behaviour and thinking that are not serving you well and hindering your progress. We will together, design and create specific actions and goals to support you in regaining control of your life. With the right questions and resources, I will help you break down the situation or decision-making into manageable and implementable steps.

Stress and anxiety can also be addressed and we can work together with mindfulness to develop individualised plans to manage stress and anxiety in relation to the challenges and changes you are experiencing. As a life coach and mentor it is my goal to listen and guide free of judgement and to foster your confidence, self-belief and self-compassion.
